About This Recruitment
Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is recruiting candidates for 2 positions of Assistant Engineer (Electrical), Class-II under the Gujarat Maritime Board. Selected candidates will be considered employees/officers of Gujarat Maritime Board. The selection process includes a Preliminary Test followed by a Personal Interview. The preliminary examination is tentatively scheduled to be held on January 17, 2027 at Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad. Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical) or Electrical and Electronics or Technology (Electrical) from a recognized University or Institution.
- Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment Rules, 1967.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Final Merit Weightage
- 50% weightage for Preliminary Test (out of 300 marks) + 50% weightage for Personal Interview (out of 100 marks).
