Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed monthly pay of Rs. 26,000/- for the first 5 years. After satisfactory completion of 5 years, candidates will be placed in Level-4 pay scale (Rs. 25,500 - 81,100/-) under the 7th Pay Commission.
Eligibility Details
Candidates must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised diploma. Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) are NOT eligible to apply. Basic computer knowledge as per government rules and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi language is mandatory. Age limit is 18 to 33 years as on 29-10-2026.

Selection Process / Exam Pattern
The competitive exam consists of two parts: Part-A (90 Marks, 90 Questions) covering Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30), Quantitative Aptitude (30), Constitution of India (10), Current Affairs (10), and Comprehension (10); and Part-B (120 Marks, 120 Questions) covering Technical Qualification related subjects. Total duration is 3 hours (180 minutes). Negative marking of 1/4th (0.25) mark applies for wrong answers.
Syllabus
Part-A includes Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude, Indian Constitution, State/National Current Affairs, and Gujarati/English Comprehension. Part-B covers Civil Engineering subjects such as Irrigation Engineering, Water Resource Management, Surveying, Soil Mechanics, Concrete Technology, Hydraulics, RCC Design, and Construction Materials.

Candidates need to keep original educational certificates, caste certificates (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS), non-creamy layer certificate (for SEBC), PwD certificate (if applicable), ex-serviceman discharge book (if applicable), passport size photograph with white background, and signature ready for uploading and verification.
