About This Recruitment
Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES), an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, is inviting online applications for direct recruitment to 254 teaching and administrative posts. The available positions include Principal, Vice-Principal, Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Librarian, Primary Teacher (PRT), Primary Teacher (Music), and Balvatika Teacher across 30 AEC Schools located at 15 centres in India. Salary & Benefits
- From joiningPay Level-12 (₹78,800-2,09,200) for Principal, Pay Level-10 (₹56,100-1,77,500) for Vice-Principal, Pay Level-8 (₹47,600-1,51,100) for PGT, Pay Level-7 (₹44,900-1,42,400) for TGT/Librarian, Pay Level-6 (₹35,400-1,12,400) for PRT/Balvatika Teacher
Selected candidates will initially be placed on probation for a period of two years. Basic pay is as per 7th CPC pay matrix levels corresponding to the post applied for.
Who Can Apply
Educational Qualification
- Principal: Master's Degree with 50% marks, B.Ed. or 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed./4-year integrated degree, and minimum 3 to 12 years of relevant experience in specified pay levels.
- Vice-Principal: Master's Degree with 50% marks, B.Ed. or integrated B.Ed., and minimum 3 to 6 years of relevant experience as PGT/Vice-Principal.
- PGT: Integrated Post Graduate Course or Master's Degree in relevant subject with 50% marks and B.Ed.
- PGT (Computer Science): M.Sc. (CS/IT)/MCA/M.E./M.Tech. with 50% marks and B.Ed.
- TGT: 4-year integrated degree or Bachelor's/Honours Degree with 50% marks in relevant subject along with B.Ed. and CTET Paper-II pass.
- TGT (Computer Science): B.Sc. (CS/IT)/BCA/B.E./B.Tech./DOEACC 'A' level with graduation and B.Ed.
- Librarian: Bachelor's Degree in Library Science/Library & Information Science with 50% marks.
- PRT: 10+2 with 50% marks, 2-year D.El.Ed. or 4-year B.El.Ed. or 2-year D.Ed. (Special Education), and CTET Paper-I pass.
- PRT (Music): 10+2 with 50% marks and Bachelor's Degree in Music/Performing Arts.
- Balvatika Teacher: 10+2 with 50% marks and Diploma in Nursery Teachers Education/Pre-School Education/D.E.C.Ed. or B.Ed. (Nursery).
Age Limit
- Principal: Age: 35-50 years as on 22 Nov 2026
- Vice-Principal: Age: 35-45 years as on 22 Nov 2026
- PGT: Maximum 40 years as on 22 Nov 2026
- TGT & Librarian: Maximum 35 years as on 22 Nov 2026
- PRT & Balvatika Teacher: Maximum 30 years as on 22 Nov 2026
- Minimum Age: 18 years for all posts as on 22 Nov 2026

Selection Process / Exam Pattern
- Selection process consists of Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Interview (for Principal/Vice-Principal) or Skill Test (for PGT, TGT, PRT, Balvatika Teacher, Librarian).
- Principal CBT: 150 Questions, 150 Marks, Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes, No negative marking.
- Vice-Principal CBT: 150 Questions, 150 Marks, Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes, No negative marking.
- PGT/TGT/Librarian/PRT/Balvatika Teacher CBT: 120 Questions, 120 Marks, Duration: 2 Hours, No negative marking.
- CBT Qualifying Marks: 60% for UR/EWS, 54% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD.
- Skill Test for teaching posts is of qualifying nature on Go/No Go basis.

- Principal & Vice-Principal Written Test: General English, General Hindi, General Reasoning, General Knowledge, Basic Computer Literacy, Numerical Ability, Understanding the Learner, Understanding Teaching Learning, Planning and Organization Teaching Learning, Creating Conducive Learning Environment, School Organization and Leadership, Prospective in Education, Management Supervision and Leadership, Administration and Finance.
- PGT / TGT / PRT / Librarian / Balvatika Teacher Written Test: General English, General Hindi, General Reasoning, General Knowledge, Basic Computer Literacy, Numerical Ability, Teaching Methodology, Subjects Concerned.
