Recruitment for the post of Headmaster (Pradhanadhyapak) in non-government aided secondary schools under the Secondary Education Department, Uttar Pradesh. Candidates selected will be posted across various boys and girls aided schools in the state.

Salary & Benefits
Pay Scale Level-10: Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 plus applicable UP state government allowances.
Eligibility Details
1. Master's Degree (Post Graduate) from a recognized University/Institute with at least 50% marks. 2. B.Ed. or B.P.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution. 3. Minimum 4 years of teaching experience as Lecturer (PGT) or Assistant Teacher (TGT) in classes 9 to 12 in a recognized institution OR minimum 4 years of experience as Headmaster in a Junior High School. 4. Age Limit: Minimum 30 years as on July 1, 2026. Maximum superannuation age is 62 years.

Selection Process / Exam Pattern
Total Marks: 400 marks (Written Exam: 360 marks + Interview: 40 marks). - Written Exam Duration: 2 Hours (120 Multiple Choice Questions). - Marking Scheme: +3 marks for each correct answer; -1 mark (negative marking) for each wrong/multiple answer. - Question paper medium: Hindi and English (except language subjects).
