Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj has released a recruitment notification (Advt No. 08/2026) for 1475 Principal positions in Aided Secondary Schools. Eligible candidates with a Post Graduate degree, B.Ed., and required teaching/administrative experience can apply online between 23rd October 2026 and 22nd November 2026.

Salary & Benefits

Eligibility Details
Post Graduate degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university, B.Ed. degree recognized by NCTE, and at least 4 years of teaching experience as Lecturer/Assistant Teacher in High School/Intermediate levels (Classes 9 to 12) or 4 years experience as Headmaster in High School.

Selection Process / Exam Pattern
Selection process consists of a Written Exam (360 marks) with 120 objective-type multiple-choice questions (2 hours duration, 3 marks per correct answer, -1 mark penalty for wrong answers) followed by an Interview (40 marks), total 400 marks.
