Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai has announced vacancies for the post of Assistant Professor on a contract basis. The positions are available in the departments of Economics, Regulatory and Financial Studies (CRPG) and Environment, Climate and Sustainability Studies (CCSS). The selected candidates will be appointed on a contract basis with a consolidated monthly remuneration.

Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 57,700 in Academic Pay Level 10 as per the 7th CPC recommendations.
Eligibility Details
Applicants must possess a Master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Candidates must also have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET. Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

There is no written examination. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications and experience, followed by an online interview.
