Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026 for the recruitment of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO) vacancies across various ministries and departments.

Salary & Benefits
LDC/JSA: Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200). DEO: Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300). DEO Grade 'A': Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100).
Eligibility Details
Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. For DEO/DEO Grade 'A' in specific ministries, a 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject is required.

Selection Process / Exam Pattern
The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two tiers: Tier-I (Objective Type, Multiple choice questions with negative marking of 0.50 marks) and Tier-II (consisting of multiple sections including Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, and Skill/Typing Test).
Syllabus
Tier-I syllabus includes English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill), and General Awareness. Tier-II covers advanced topics in Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning, English Language & Comprehension, General Awareness, and Computer Basics.
Documents Required
During application/registration, candidates need Aadhaar Card (or other valid Photo ID), Matriculation Certificate, and scanned signature (10 to 20 KB in JPEG format). Live photograph will be captured during the application process.
