Salary & Benefits
The pay scale for the post of Constable (GD) is Rs. 19,500 - 62,000/-. Candidates will receive a stipend of 70% in the first year, 80% in the second year, and 90% in the third year of probation, along with other allowances approved by the government.
Eligibility Details
Candidates must have passed 10th class or Higher Secondary (10+2 system) from a recognized board. For Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, the minimum qualification is 8th class pass. The age limit is 18 to 33 years as of October 06, 2026, with relaxation applicable for reserved categories and female candidates of MP domicile.

Selection Process / Exam Pattern
The first stage is a computer-based written exam of 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours. It consists of multiple-choice questions: General Knowledge & Logical Reasoning (40 marks), Intellectual Ability & Mental Aptitude (30 marks), and Science & Simple Arithmetic (30 marks). There is no negative marking.

The syllabus includes General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Intellectual Ability, Mental Aptitude, General Science, and Simple Arithmetic up to the 8th-grade level of the MP Board of Secondary Education.
Documents Required
Color photograph (with name and date of photo taken, not older than 3 months), signature, handwriting sample, proof of date of birth (8th, 10th, or 12th marksheet), caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS), and domicile certificate of Madhya Pradesh.
