Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting a walk-in selection process for the recruitment of Server Administrator (Grade D) on a regular basis. Eligible candidates can participate in the walk-in process on September 30, 2026.
About This Recruitment
The selected candidate will be responsible for Server Administration (managing user accounts, file systems, virtualization), Network Administration (maintaining switches, firewalls, troubleshooting), Backup Administration, and Email Administration.

Salary & Benefits
The post offers a Basic Pay of ₹ 35,400/- per month, with total emoluments of approximately ₹ 73,020/- per month at the beginning of the scale. The annual CTC is approximately ₹ 14.09 Lakhs, which includes benefits like PF, Medical, Gratuity, and other allowances.
Eligibility Details
Candidates must possess a B.E/B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification work experience in a related field. Hands-on experience in Linux Server Administration (RHEL or similar) and elementary experience in Network Management (L3 Switch) are essential.

Selection Process / Exam Pattern
The selection process consists of Document Verification, Short Listing, an Online Examination, and a Personal Interview. The Online Examination consists of Aptitude (30 questions, 30 marks) and Professional Knowledge (70 questions, 70 marks) with a composite duration of 90 minutes. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

The online test structure includes Aptitude and Professional Knowledge related to Server and Network Administration.

Educational Qualification Mark sheets and Certificates 6. Experience Certificates 7. No Objection Certificate (if serving in Government/PSU/Banks) 8. Copy of latest payslip, appointment letter, or relieving letter (if applicable)
